Morten Dahlin
Morten Dahlin (born 1 May 1989 in Hvidovre) is a Danish politician who serves a member of the Folketing for the Venstre political party. He was elected into parliament at the 2019 Danish general election. Since 2023, Dahlin has been serving as minister for ecclesiastical affairs, rural districts and Nordic cooperation in the cabinet of Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen. Greve Municipality
Greve Municipality is a municipality ( Danish, '' kommune'') about 21 km south-west of Copenhagen in Region Sjælland on the east coast of the island of Zealand (''Sjælland'') in eastern Denmark. The municipality covers an area of 60 km², and has a total population of 47,773 (2008). The site of its municipal council is the town of Greve Strand. It serves primarily as a residential municipality, functioning as a suburb for the larger Copenhagen area. 2015 Danish General Election
General elections were held in the Kingdom of Denmark on 18 June 2015 to elect the 179 members of the Folketing. 175 members were elected in the Denmark proper, two in the Faroe Islands and two in Greenland. Although the ruling Social Democrats became the largest party in the Folketing and increased their seat count, the opposition Venstre party was able to form a minority government headed by Lars Løkke Rasmussen with the support of the Danish People's Party, the Liberal Alliance and the Conservative People's Party. The Danish local elections of 2017 were held on 21 November 2017 for Denmark's 98 municipal councils and five regional councils. All 2,432 seats were contested for the 2018–21 term of office, together with 205 seats (a fixed number of 41 seats in each council) in five regional councils. In the previous election, there were 2,444 seats in the municipal councils. Results Results of regional elections The Danish ministry of economy and interior informed that voter turnout was 70.6%. 3,074,840 cast their votes. They voted for 205 seats in the five regional councils. This number remains unchanged since the first elections for the regional councils in the newly created regions, which were set up 1 January 2007 after the 13 counties were abolished. Mette Frederiksen
Mette Frederiksen (; born 19 November 1977) is a Danish politician who has been Prime Minister of Denmark since June 2019, and Leader of the Social Democrats since June 2015. The second woman to hold either office, she is also the youngest prime minister in Danish history. Besides a brief career as a trade unionist (2000–2001), Frederiksen has never had any employment outside politics. She was first elected to the Folketing in the 2001 general election, representing Copenhagen County. After the Social Democrats won the 2011 general election, she was appointed Minister of Employment by Prime Minister Helle Thorning-Schmidt. She was promoted to Minister of Justice in 2014.
