Morpho Deidamia
''Morpho deidamia'', the Deidamia morpho, is a Neotropical butterfly. It is found in Panama, Nicaragua, Costa Rica, Suriname, Bolivia, Venezuela, Colombia, Peru, Ecuador, and Brazil. It is a species group, which may be, or may not be several species. Many subspecies have been described. Description The basal part of the upper surface in the males brilliant steel blue, the distal area of both wings delicate light blue. But in the female the proximal region is darkened, being broadly black, though with intensive metallic reflection. Forewing with three white median dots, the light blue restricted to a relatively narrow median area. Eugène Le Moult
Eugène Le Moult (31 December 1882, Quimper – 26 January 1967, Paris) was a French naturalist and entomologist specialised in butterflies; hunter, businessman and collector. Le Moult grew up in the tropical prison colony of French Guiana, where his cash-strapped organic-farmer father had taken a post to develop the road network. Here the adolescent discovered the beauty of the area's '' Morpho'' butterflies, and set about hunting and selling them to mainland France. French Guiana's only butterfly exporter from 1903 to 1920, Le Moult turned his business into the country's third largest industry, after gold and precious woods. To enlarge his collection he started to recruit hunters. In Guyana, at the time, the question of labour was simple: you had to use convicts. is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Yun Kōga. It is serialized in the Japanese magazine ''Monthly Comic Zero Sum'' by Ichijinsha and collected in thirteen ''tankōbon'' as of July 2017. Kōga plans to end the manga at fifteen volumes. A 12-episode anime television series adaptation was made by J.C. Staff, broadcast in a post-midnight slot on TV Asahi and ABC from April 2005 to June 2005. In Greek mythology, Lycomedes ( grc, Λυκομήδης), also known as Lycurgus, was the most prominent king of the Dolopians in the island of Scyros near Euboea during the Trojan War. Family Lycomedes was the father of seven daughters including Deidameia, and grandfather of Pyrrhus or Neoptolemus. Deidamia (mythology)
In Greek mythology, Deidamia (; Ancient Greek: Δηϊδάμεια ''Deïdameia'') was a princess of Scyros as a daughter of King Lycomedes. Mythology Deidamia was one of King Lycomedes's seven daughters with whom Achilles was concealed. Some versions of this story state that Achilles was hidden in Lycomedes's court as one of the king's daughters, some say as a lady-in-waiting under the name " Pyrrha". The two soon became romantically involved to the point of intimacy. After Odysseus arrived at Lycomedes's palace and exposed Achilles as a young man, the hero decided to join the Trojan War, along with hitherapon Patroclus, leaving behind his wife Deidamia.
