Morne Nel
Morne Peter Nel (born 23 May 1996) is a South African Association football, footballer who plays as a midfielder for Ajax Cape Town F.C., Ajax Cape Town on loan from SuperSport United F.C., SuperSport United in the Premier Soccer League. Club career Old Mutual Academy Nel played his youth football at Old Mutual Academy in Cape Town, and captained the team. SuperSport United Nel joined SuperSport United F.C., SuperSport United in May 2013, after attracting interest also from Ajax Cape Town F.C., Ajax Cape Town and Mamelodi Sundowns F.C., Mamelodi Sundowns. He impressed and assisted the second goal in SuperSport United's 2–0 win in a pre-season friendly against Manchester City F.C., Manchester City. In September 2013, along with Denwin Farmer, Zama Rambuwane and Kabelo Seriba, Nel trained in England with Tottenham Hotspur F.C. Reserves and Academy, Tottenham Hotspur Youth. Premier Soccer League
The Premier Soccer League (PSL) is the administrative body for professional soccer leagues and cups in South Africa. It is based in Johannesburg, and was founded in 1996 following an agreement between the National Soccer League and the remnants of the National Professional Soccer League (NPSL). Affiliated to the South African Football Association (SAFA), the PSL organizes the country's top two professional divisions in the South African Premiership and the National First Division, and knockout cup competitions in the Nedbank Cup and the MTN 8. Teams that are relegated from the National First Division compete in the SAFA Second Division. They also organize a Youth League or PSL Reserve League DStv Diski Challenge.
