''Morals and Dogma'' is the third studio album (and fourth overall) by ambient music, ambient noise music, noise artist Deathprod. It was released the same day as Deathprod's self-titled compilation which included three previous albums and ''Morals and Dogma''. Release includes older material: track 2 was recorded in 1994, track 3 in 1996 while remaining in 2000. In 2016, Pitchfork (website), Pitchfork Media ranked it #50 on their list of the 50 Best Ambient Albums of All Time. Deathprod
Deathprod is the musical pseudonym used by Norwegian artist Helge Sten for his ambient music project. He is married to Norwegian singer Susanna Wallumrød. Biography Sten began creating music under this name starting in 1991, culminating with a box set of most of his recorded work being released in 2004. Simply titled ''Deathprod'', the collection contains three albums along with a bonus disc of previously unreleased, rare, and deleted tracks. On recordings, Sten is usually credited with "Audio Virus", a catchall term for "homemade electronics, old tape echo machines, ring modulators, filters, theremins, digital sampler, samplers and lots of electronic stuff."
