Moose And JRock
Moose and JRock (Hugh Evans and James Espley) are two broadcasters based in Surrey and Manchester, who present the Saturday 3-5pm show on Primordial Radio. Prior to that the dynamic duo partnered on the Breakfast Show on Team Rock Radio The programme aired weekdays, 7am to 11am, with the exception of Friday where they broadcast four hours of requests. Evans is now CEO at Primordial Radio, whilst Espley, is a Production Manager at Bauer. Previously, they have both worked together at Team Rock Radio and prior to that Real Radio XS, formerly 106.1 Rock Radio based in Manchester. The duo once broadcast their entire show whilst travelling from Southwark tube station in Central London, to Stratford in East London using just the wifi provided by Virgin Media at each station. The journey culminated in a McDonald's breakfast at the end of the programme. Primordial Radio
Primordial Radio is a British premium online radio platform specialising in rock and metal music. The station was founded in January 2017 by Hugh Evans (Moose), Russ Collington (Dewsbury), Peter 'Pete' Bailey and Benjamin 'Mark' Woodhouse, all formerly of Team Rock. Through the loyalty of their fan base, the company hit its first major milestone in July 2017, successfully crowd equity funding £153,282 from 853 individual investors. Test streams of the radio station began in May 2017 and the station officially launched on Saturday 30 September 2017 at 7pm. Foundational Years A predecessor in the same market was Team Rock, a company based in London and High Blantyre, South Lanarkshire, which published music magazines and operated an online radio station. Real Radio XS
Real Radio XS was a radio station brand operated by Real and Smooth Ltd (formerly GMG Radio) based in Salford, Greater Manchester, broadcasting a variety of peak-time news, rock music and talk output. The Manchester-based version of the service was broadcast to Greater Manchester on FM, and to a number of areas on DAB: the closure of the MXR regional multiplexes ended most digital carriage of the service, with the last remaining digital transmission, to Yorkshire, ending in 2014. The other Real Radio XS service, covering Paisley and Renfrewshire on FM and central belt Scotland digitally, became Xfm Scotland in 2014 following Global's purchase of the franchise, before closing entirely in 2015. Southwark Tube Station
Southwark is a London Underground station in the London Borough of Southwark at the corner of Blackfriars Road and The Cut. It is between and stations on the Jubilee line, and is in Travelcard Zone 1. It was opened on 20 November 1999 as part of the Jubilee Line Extension. The station is somewhat west of historic Southwark, which is served by Borough and London Bridge stations. Its entrance is across the road from the disused Blackfriars Road railway station.
