Richard Egan (actor)
Richard Egan (July 29, 1921 – July 20, 1987) was an American actor. After beginning his career in 1949, he subsequently won a Golden Globe Award for his performances in the films '' The Glory Brigade'' (1953) and '' The Kid from Left Field'' (1953). He went on to star in many films such as '' Underwater!'' (1955), ''Seven Cities of Gold'' (1955), '' The Revolt of Mamie Stover'' (1956), '' Love Me Tender'' (1956), '' Tension at Table Rock'' (1956), '' A Summer Place'' (1959), '' Esther and the King'' (1960) and '' The 300 Spartans'' (1962). Early life Egan was born and raised in San Francisco, California. Of Irish descent, he graduated from St. Ignatius College Preparatory. He won a public-speaking competition in 1938 that helped fire his interest in performing. He was supported by his brother who was a priest. William Wintersole (July 30, 1931 – November 5, 2019) was an American actor who appeared on ''The Young and the Restless'' for over 20 years as Mitchell Sherman, as well as on ''General Hospital'' as Ted Ballantine. A character actor, Wintersole also appeared in television series, including ''I Dream of Jeannie'', ''Kojak'', ''Little House on the Prairie'', '' Quincy, M.E.'', ''Bonanza ''Bonanza'' is an American Western television series that ran on NBC from September 12, 1959, to January 16, 1973. Charles Lewis Napier (April 12, 1936 – October 5, 2011) was an American actor who was known for playing supporting and occasional leading roles in television and films. He was frequently cast as police officers, soldiers, or authority figures, many of them villainous or corrupt. After leaving his Kentucky hometown to serve in the Army, he graduated from college and worked as a sports coach and art teacher before settling on acting as a career. His first prominent role in a film was in ''Cherry, Harry & Raquel!'' (1969), which was the first of four films he would do with director Russ Meyer. Napier established himself in character roles and worked steadily for the next 35 years. Richard William Bull (June 26, 1924 – February 3, 2014) was an American film, stage and television actor. He was best known for his performances as "Doc" on ''Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea'' and Nels Oleson on ''Little House on the Prairie''. Personal life Bull was born on June 26, 1924, in Zion, Illinois. After years of living in Los Angeles, he moved back to Chicago in 1994 with his wife Barbara Collentine. The couple moved to the Motion Picture & Television Fund House from Chicago in September 2012. Bull fell into acting by accident. “I never gave a serious consideration about becoming an actor.
