Moonee is a coastal locality of the Central Coast and Hunter regions of New South Wales, Australia. It is part of the Central Coast Council and City of Lake Macquarie local government areas. Moonee is largely unpopulated, with nearly all of its land area being part of the Munmorah State Conservation Area. In the west of the area is the decommissioned Moonee Colliery. Crangan Bay, New South Wales
Crangan Bay is a coastal suburb of the Central Coast and Hunter regions of New South Wales, Australia, located between Budgewoi and Swansea on the bay of the same name. It is part of the Central Coast Council and City of Lake Macquarie local government areas. The suburb is a bushland area currently undergoing urban development. The major land owners are the local aboriginal land council and land held by an urban development company and the Coal and Allied mining company, who intend to turn this area into a suburb. Munmorah State Conservation Area
Munmorah State Conservation Area is located on the Central Coast of New South Wales, Australia. The area's coastal setting and panoramic views, perched sand dunes, diverse vegetation communities, protected threatened species and migratory bird habitats, together with opportunities for nature based recreation and for educational and scientific study, were cited as reasons for the reserve's creation. Catherine Hill Bay, New South Wales
Catherine Hill Bay is a coastal bay and village on the southern peninsula forming Lake Macquarie, south of the Pacific Ocean entrance channel at Swansea in New South Wales, Australia. It is part of the City of Lake Macquarie local government area. The village is the oldest continuous settlement in the City of Lake Macquarie. The Aboriginal people in this area, the Awabakal were the first people of this land. A surf club is sited overlooking the beach that is quite popular for recreation.
