Monuments are a British progressive metal band formed by former Fellsilent guitarist, John Browne, and former The Tony Danza Tapdance Extravaganza, Tony Danza Tapdance Extravaganza guitarist, Josh Travis. The band has released four studio albums through Century Media Records: ''Gnosis (Monuments album), Gnosis'' (2012), ''The Amanuensis'' (2014), ''Phronesis (album), Phronesis'' (2018) and ''In Stasis'' (2022). History The band was formed by Fellsilent guitarist John Browne and the Tony Danza Tapdance Extravaganza guitarist Josh Travis in 2007. After various lineup changes, the band signed with Century Media Records in 2012, announcing the addition of singer Matt Rose the same day. Their debut album, ''Gnosis (Monuments album), Gnosis'', came out on 28 August 2012. The band took part in the Euroblast European Tour with Jeff Loomis, Vildhjarta, and Stealing Axion. After the Burial is an American progressive metal band from Minneapolis, Minnesota. They are currently signed to Sumerian Records and have released five of their six full-length albums through the label. Vola (stylized as VOLA) are a Danish progressive metal band formed in Copenhagen in 2006. Having gone through a number of lineup changes earlier in their career, the band currently consists of three Danes, guitarist/vocalist Asger Mygind, keyboardist Martin Werner and bassist Nicolai Mogensen; and one Sweden, Swede, drummer Adam Janzi. History Origins (2006–2012) The band was formed by vocalist and guitarist Asger Mygind and some friends, and coalesced into a stable lineup in 2006. Hevy Music Festival
Hevy Music Festival was a rock festival established by Claire Baker and James that took place annually near Folkestone, Kent, in the UK. It was originally held on 1 August 2009 on Folkestone seafront as a one-day festival with Feeder, Gary Numan and Ash as headliners, with an unusual organisation between the two stages in which when one finished on the main stage, the band on the second stage would immediately begin their set. This stage looked like a burger van. In 2010 it moved to Port Lympne Wild Animal Park and grew to a weekend camping festival held from 6–8 August.
