CIF Southern Section
The California Interscholastic Federation-Southern Section (CIF-SS) is the governing body for high school athletics in most of Southern California and is the largest of the ten sections that comprise the California Interscholastic Federation (CIF). Its membership includes most public and private high schools in Orange, Los Angeles, Riverside, San Bernardino, Ventura, and central and southern Santa Barbara counties. Teams from the Los Angeles Unified School District (LAUSD) and surrounding areas have competed in the CIF Los Angeles City Section since 1935. CIF-SS's offices are located in Los Alamitos. Founded in 1913, the CIF Southern Section includes over 560 member public and private high schools and is by far the largest CIF section. Azusa High School is a public high school in Azusa, California, United States, a city east of Los Angeles and east of the San Gabriel Valley. Duarte High School is a public high school located in Duarte, California and is part of Duarte Unified School District. Duarte High School had 764 students enrolled as of 2024. Sierra Vista High School (Baldwin Park, California)
Sierra Vista High School (SVHS) is a four-year comprehensive high school located in Baldwin Park, California. It opened in 1961 and is part of the Baldwin Park Unified School District. It is one of three high schools in the city, Baldwin Park High School and North Park Continuation School being the other two. William Workman High School is the only public high school located in City of Industry, California. It is one of four high schools in the Hacienda La Puente Unified School District. For sports, it is a member of the Montview League. History School was named after William Workman whom had great success in the Los Angeles area, before moving to Rancho La Puente. School opened at the beginning of the 1967–68 school year. 1969, James Faul was the Principal, the current principal is Timothy Espinosa.
