Galzignano Terme ( vec, Galsignán) is a ''comune'' (municipality) in the Province of Padua in the Italian region Veneto, located about southwest of Venice and about southwest of Padua. Etymology The illustrious academic Olivieri thought that the name of Galzignano came from the Latin word Gallicinus, with the suffix -anu. Euganean Hills
The Euganean Hills ( it, Colli Euganei ) are a group of hills of volcanic origin that rise to heights of 300 to 600 m from the Padovan-Venetian plain a few km south of Padua.
