Montana Buckaroos
The Montana Buckaroos are a junior ice hockey#Tier II, Tier II junior ice hockey team playing in the United States Premier Hockey League's (USPHL) National Collegiate Development Conference (NCDC) division. The Buckaroos play their home games at Centennial Ice Arena in Billings, Montana. History On November 21, 2024, the USPHL announced that they had approved the addition of the Montana Buckaroos as an expansion team for the 2025–26 season. The team would be placed in the Mountain division and play out of the Centennial Ice Arena while they waited for their permanent home, the Signal Peak Energy Arena to finish construction which was projected to be in November 2025. United States Premier Hockey League
The United States Premier Hockey League (USPHL) is an American ice hockey league. Founded in 2012, the USPHL has grown to over 60 organizations from across the United States/Canada fielding teams in the National Collegiate Development Conference (NCDC), Premier, Elite, EHF, 18U, 16U, 15U, and High Performance youth divisions. From 2013 to 2017, USA Hockey sanctioned the Premier, Elite, Empire, Midwest, and USP3 Divisions as Junior ice hockey#Tier III, Tier III junior leagues. In 2017, the USPHL added a higher level junior league named the National Collegiate Development Conference (NCDC) for the 2017–18 season. The NCDC was seeking free-to-play Junior ice hockey#Tier II, Tier II junior league sanctioning, but was denied by USA Hockey. Centennial Ice Arena is a 550-seat ice arena in Billings, Montana, USA. From 2006 to 2017, the arena played host to the city's only junior league hockey club, the Billings Bulls. The Montreal Black Vees are a Tier III junior ice hockey team playing in the United States Premier Hockey League's (USPHL) Premier division. Billings Bulls
The Billings Bulls were a junior ice hockey organization based in Billings, Montana. They most recently played home games at the 550-seat Centennial Ice Arena and due to the arena's small size, the Bulls frequently sold-out games. They previously played their home games in the Metrapark which had a max capacity of 9,000 for hockey games.
