''Mono'' (stylized as ''mono.'') is the second mixtape by South Korean rapper RM (musician), RM of BTS. It was released on October 23, 2018, through Big Hit Music, Big Hit Entertainment. It features seven tracks and was accompanied by an animated music video for the final track, "Forever Rain". RM has called ''Mono'' a playlist, while other publications have referred to it as a mixtape. It features songs sung and rapped in both Korean and English. Background and release RM first teased the mixtape and confirmed its production in March 2018 by posting a clip of an unnamed song through BTS (band), BTS' Twitter account. In June 2018, British electropop duo Honne (band), Honne said in an interview that they had possibly worked on music with RM. Kim Nam-joon (; born September 12, 1994), known professionally as RM (formerly Rap Monster), is a South Korean rapper, songwriter, and record producer. He is the leader of South Korean boy band BTS, under Big Hit Entertainment. Born in Seoul and raised in Ilsan, RM began his music career in the underground Korean hip-hop scene as a teenager, going by the name Runch Randa. He joined Big Hit in 2010, and debuted as part of BTS in June 2013. RM released his first solo mixtape, '' RM'', in 2015, followed by his second mixtape, '' Mono'', in 2018. Kang Hyo-won (; born September 19, 1983), known professionally as Pdogg (Korean: 피독), is a South Korean record producer and songwriter for Big Hit Music. He has produced and composed for artists such as 8Eight, Baek Ji-young, BTS, Jo Kwon, and Lim Jeong-hee, among others. Seonyudo () is an island in the Han River in Seoul, South Korea. There is a Seonyudo park all over the island. The total area of the island is 0.11 km2. Seonyudo Park is an ecological park that meets the Yanghwa Bridge.
