Monika Ertl
Monika Ertl (17 August 1937 – 12 May 1973) was a German Bolivians, German-Bolivian Communism, communist militant and Guerrilla warfare, guerrilla fighter and the daughter of Nazi propagandist Hans Ertl (cameraman), Hans Ertl. She is most known for assassinating Colonel Roberto Quintanilla Pereira, the man responsible for chopping off Che Guevara, Che Guevara's hands. This successful assassination earned her the title 'Che Guevara's avenger' in Germany. She continued to serve as a soldier in the National Liberation Army (Bolivia), National Liberation Army (ELN), resisting the Bolivian government, until she was killed by Bolivian security services in 1973. Her body was never returned to her family, and the site of her grave remains unknown. Biography Ertl was born in Munich. Jules Régis Debray (; born 2 September 1940) is a French philosopher, journalist, former government official and academic. He is known for his theorization of mediology, a critical theory of the long-term transmission of cultural meaning in human society, and for associating with Marxist revolutionary Che Guevara in Bolivia in 1967 and advancing Salvador Allende's presidency in Chile in the early 1970s. He returned to France in 1973 and later held various official posts in the French government. Jürgen Schreiber (30 January 1947 – 21 February 2022) was a German investigative journalist and author based in Berlin. He was a regular contributor to Berlin's daily newspaper ''Der Tagesspiegel'' on matters concerning Germany's past in World War II and in the fine arts. Schreiber's (non-official) biography in 2005 of the German painter Gerhard Richter, gained much recognition when he exposed the fact that Richter's own aunt was murdered by Richter's late father-in-law, a doctor in the SS.
