''Money Shot'' (stylized as ''Money $hot'') is the third studio album by Puscifer, released on October 30, 2015. Release On July 29, 2015, the album was announced via the release of the first single, "Grand Canyon". The vinyl version features an exclusive mix of "Simultaneous" featuring Daniel Ash (Bauhaus/ Love And Rockets). Remix album On November 25, 2016 a remix album with versions of tracks from ''Money Shot'' was released, entitled '' Money Shot Your Re-Load''. Puscifer
Puscifer () is an American rock group formed in Los Angeles by Maynard James Keenan, known as the lead singer of the bands Tool and A Perfect Circle. Initially, Keenan was the only permanent member, and as such he considered the project to be his "creative subconscious". Later, frequent collaborators Mat Mitchell and Carina Round became permanent members. Background Puscifer's original name was Umlaut, "a premiere improvisational hardcore band". The name "Puscifer" was first publicized as a fictional band in the first episode of '' Mr. Show'', including Keenan and Adam Jones as members. Jones is not associated with Puscifer otherwise, although artwork by Jones has been featured on Puscifer apparel (the "Your Mom's a Bitch" shirt, specifically). Jon Theodore
Jon Philip Theodore (born December 30, 1973) is an American drummer. He has been the current drummer for Queens of the Stone Age since 2013, and is also known for being the drummer for the Mars Volta from 2001 to 2006. Known for his explosive, multi-textural playing style, Theodore was a member of both Golden and Royal Trux before joining The Mars Volta in 2001. Theodore remained within the band for five years, recording the band's first three studio albums, '' De-Loused in the Comatorium'' (2003), '' Frances the Mute'' (2005) and '' Amputechture'' (2006), before departing at the request of guitarist and bandleader Omar Rodríguez-López. Mark Brooks (born May 7, 1970) is an American producer, director, writer and musician known for his work on projects such as ''Metalocalypse'', ''Moonbeam City'' and '' Serenity''. He is a member of the dark electronic pop group Night Club. Early life Brooks was born and raised in Denver, Colorado. Xiu Xiu
Xiu Xiu ( ) is an American experimental rock band, formed in 2002 by singer-songwriter Jamie Stewart in San Jose, California. Currently, the line-up consists of multi-instrumentalists Stewart (the only constant member since formation), Angela Seo, and percussionist David Kendrick. The band's name comes from the Chinese film '' Xiu Xiu: The Sent Down Girl'', which has influenced the sound of their music, according to Stewart. Lead into Gold is a side project of American industrial musician Paul Barker, best known as the former bassist for Ministry and the Hermes Pan half of the Luxa/Pan production team. Primarily a solo project by Barker, Lead into Gold featured occasional guest performances by his Ministry bandmates Al Jourgensen and Bill Rieflin as well as Stuart Zechman of Stabbing Westward. History In its first incarnation, Lead into Gold only released two 12 inch singles and one full-length studio LP. ''Idiot'' was the first release in 1988, followed by the ''Chicks & Speed: Futurism'' single and ''Age of Reason'' album, both released in 1990. Justin Gunnar Walter Chancellor (born 19 November 1971) is an English musician, best known as the bassist for rock band Tool, a position he has held since 1995. Prior to joining Tool, he played in a band called Peach. After settling in the US, along with his engagement in his musical projects, he and his wife Shelee Dykman Chancellor ran a store called Lobal Orning in Topanga, California, dedicated to music and literature "that shaped and changed" both of them. Timothy Wayne Alexander (born April 10, 1965), also credited as "Herb" Alexander, is an American retired musician best known as the drummer for the rock band Primus. Prior to Primus, Alexander was the drummer for Arizona's Major Lingo from 1985-1990. Alexander has been in Primus across three stints; he initially left the band in 1996 and rejoined in 2003 before leaving again in 2010 and re-joining in 2013, again departing in October 2024. Alexander has played in several projects with Tool frontman Maynard James Keenan including the bands Puscifer and A Perfect Circle. He earned the nickname "Herb" from his Primus bandmates after carrying a fanny pack full with herbs like ginseng that he would distribute.
