''Money Heist'' (, ) is a Spanish heist genre, heist crime drama media franchise created by Álex Pina. It is centered around a television series which followed two long-prepared heists led by the Professor (Money Heist), Professor. The narrative of the series is told in a real-time-like fashion, relying on flashbacks, time-jumps, hidden character motivations, and an unreliable narrator (Tokyo (Money Heist), Tokyo) for complexity. The franchise was launched with the two-part, 15-episode miniseries, limited television series ''Money Heist'' (, ), which premiered on Spanish network Antena 3 (Spanish TV channel), Antena 3 on May 2, 2017. Despite little ratings success during its initial run (in spite of its positive reviews), the series went on to become an international hit when the first part was released outside Spain on Netflix in late 2017. ''Locked Up'' () is a Spanish serial drama television series produced by Globomedia, initially for Spanish Network Antena 3 and later for Fox Spain. It premiered on 20 April 2015. The series focuses on Macarena Ferreiro, who is sent to prison for fiscal offenses and goes on to depict prison life and the corruption of law-enforcement bodies. Locked Up Season 2
The second season of the woman prisoned themed television series '' Vis a Vis'' premiered on March 31, 2016 and aired its last episode on June 22, 2016, consisting of 13 episodes. It was broadcast by Antena 3 in Spain. The season was executive produced by Globomedia and was created by Álex Pina, Daniel Écija, Iván Escobar and Esther Martínez Lobato.
