Monchín Triana

	Monchín Triana Monchín Triana (28 June 1902 – 10 August 1936) was a Spanish footballer who played as a midfielder. He is a historical player of both Atlético Madrid and Real Madrid, holding the title of all-time top scorer in the club's history with the former and winning the 1931–32 La Liga with the latter, the first in the club's history. In his memory, from 1952 to 1968, the Monchín Triana Trophy was awarded annually by the Spanish newspapers '' MARCA'' and '' Arriba'' to the footballer in the Spanish league who had stood out, throughout his career, for his sportsmanship and for fidelity to the colors of his club.
