Molos
Molos (, meaning “Jetty”) is a town and a former municipality in Phthiotis, Greece. Since the 2011 local government reform it has been a part of the municipality Kamena Vourla, of which it is a municipal unit. The municipal unit has an area of 147.510 km2 and a population of 3,611 in 2021. Molos Railway Station
Molos () is a railway station serving the town of Molos, Greece. This station is on the Tithorea–Lianokladi high-speed line, which opened on 1 February 2018. However, the station itself did not open until 20 November 2022, with the first train arriving at 10:30. Station layout The station is on an embankment, and consists of two side platforms and four tracks: the middle two tracks are for passing trains: a pedestrian subway connects the two platforms, both of which have step-free access via lifts. Kamena Vourla
Kamena Vourla (, ) is a town and a municipality in Phthiotis, Greece. At the 2011 local government reform it became part of the municipality ''Molos-Agios Konstantinos'' (of which it became the seat), which was renamed to ''Kamena Vourla'' in July 2018. The population of the town proper was 2,796 at the 2011 census. Geography Kamena Vourla is located on the south coast of the Malian Gulf, west of Cape Knimis, which separates the Malian Gulf from the North Euboean Gulf. The Knimis mountains rise just south of the town. It is crossed by the A1 motorway, which connects Athens and Thessaloniki. Phthiotis (, ''Fthiótida'' ; ancient Greek and Katharevousa: Φθιῶτις) is one of the regional units of Greece. It is part of the administrative region of Central Greece (administrative region), Central Greece. The capital is the city of Lamia (city), Lamia. Piraeus–Platy Railway
The railway from Piraeus to Platy is an electrified double-track railway line that connects Athens to northern Greece and the rest of Europe. It constitutes the longest section of the mostly completed higher-speed rail line known as P.A.Th.E./P., which includes Greece's most important rail connection, that between Athens and Thessaloniki. Its northern end is the station of Platy, on the Thessaloniki–Bitola railway. In the south, it connects to the Athens Airport–Patras railway at the Acharnes Railway Center.
