Mole Sisters
''Mole Sisters'' is an animated series released on March 3, 2003. It teaches preschoolers to respect the natural world around them. It is based on the book series written and illustrated by Roslyn Schwartz, and follows the adventures of two moles as they explore their environment. The series is produced by Funbag Animation Studios Funbag Animation Studios (also known as Funbag Animation Studio Inc. or Funbag) was a Canadian animation studio headquartered in Ottawa, Ontario. Funbag was well known for working on animated television series such as '' Undergrads'', '' Freaky ... and Helix Animation. The show was commended for not only teaching respect for the environment, but for teaching respect for those around people, which is demonstrated in the sisters' relationship and the way they help each other throughout the series. Roslyn Schwartz
Roslyn Schwartz (born 29 September 1951) is a Canadian children's author and animator. Born in Montreal, Quebec, she was raised in Tunbridge Wells, Kent, England. Schwartz is the author of ''The Mole Sisters'' series, ''The Smoker's Addictionary'' (1985), ''Rose and Dorothy'' (1981), and ''Tales from Parc la Fontaine'' (2006). ''The Mole Sisters'' was made into a T.V. cartoon series.
