Mokhtar Dahari
Malay styles and titles#State titles, Dato' Mohd Mokhtar bin Dahari (, IPA: ; (13 November 1953 – 11 July 1991) was a Malaysian professional association football, footballer who played for Selangor F.C., Selangor. He is considered a legendary footballer in Malaysian history. FIFA acknowledged his 89 goals in international matches and took his team to an World Football Elo Ratings of 61 in 1977. A prolific Forward (association football), forward, he was nicknamed Supermokh due to his playing skills and strength. Mokhtar is the all-time top scorer for the Malaysian national team. Early life Born on 13 November 1953 at Setapak, Selangor (in present-day Kuala Lumpur), Mokhtar was the first son of Aminah Sharikan and Dahari Abeng. The Malay language has a complex system of Style (manner of address), styles, titles and honorifics which are used extensively in Brunei, Brunei Darussalam, Malaysia and Singapore. Brunei, Malaysia, Singapore, few provinces in the Philippines and several provinces in Indonesia regularly award honorary and life titles. What follows in this article is specific to the Malaysian system. References to Brunei and Indonesia are given when pertinent. In Malaysia, all non-hereditary titles can be granted to both men and women. Every title has a form of address which can be used by the wife of the title holder. 1975 SEAP Games
The 1975 Southeast Asian Peninsular Games, officially known as the 8th Southeast Asian Peninsular Games, were a Southeast Asian multi-sport event held in Bangkok, Thailand from 9 to 16 December 1975. This was the third time Thailand hosted the games, and its first time since 1967. Previously, Thailand also hosted the 1959 inaugural games. Cambodia and Laos, which only sent token squads made up of military personnel to previous games, declined to participate due to internal political problems, while South Vietnam was fallen and no longer existed. These were the last games to bear the Southeast Asian Peninsular Games name before it was renamed the Southeast Asian Games. Kampung Pandan
Kampung Pandan is a village/settlement located in the Titiwangsa constituency in eastern Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, surrounded by Ampang, Kuala Lumpur, Ampang, Maluri, Pudu, Kuala Lumpur, Pudu and Bukit Bintang. Once a small settlement, Kampung Pandan has now grown and developed tremendously. It used to be an area of well-planned settlement (with title deed) under Rural Industrial Development Authority (RIDA) to accommodate/ relocate people who were moved from their areas of settlement for development purposes (among the areas was Maxwell Village) in the late 1960s. Kampung Pandan was developed into two sections of the settlement namely Kampong Pandan Dalam (settlement) and Kampong Pandan Luar (commercial area or locally known as the town area).
