Moistboyz I II
Moistboyz is an American hard rock band formed in New Hope, Pennsylvania in 1991 by Guy Heller and Mickey Melchiondo. Moistboyz music is typically fast-paced punk/metal, combining stream-of-consciousness lyrics with aggressive rock guitar riffs. As in Melchiondo's band Ween, both he and Heller assume aliases: Mickey Moist and Dickie Moist. History Melchiondo and Heller met when they were both 14. However, they didn't develop a musical partnership until 7 years later. While Melchiondo's other band Ween was working on their third album Pure Guava, Heller's band False Front was working out of the same farm house studio. During times when Melchiondo's Ween bandmate wasn't around, he and Heller would make music on their own. Biography Dave Dreiwitz was born on January 2, 1966, in New York City, New York to traditional jazz musician parents, Richard and Barbara Dreiwitz. His father plays trombone and his mother plays tuba. In 1983, at the age of seventeen, after a short time on trumpet in Mod Fun, Dreiwitz joined the Hoboken, New Jersey–based psychedelic rock band Tiny Lights, his first professional band out of high school. Eagles of Death Metal is an American rock band from Palm Desert, California, formed in 1998. Founded by Jesse Hughes (vocals, guitar) and Josh Homme (drums), the band also includes a wide range of other musicians who perform both on the band's studio albums and at live shows. Hughes and Homme are the only permanent members of the band, with Homme rarely performing at live shows due to commitment to his other band, Queens of the Stone Age. Chuck Treece (born May 30, 1964) is an American musician and professional skateboarder from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. In 1984, he became famous for being the first African-American skateboarder to be featured on the cover of ''Thrasher'' magazine.
