Aleksandr Alekseyevich Moiseyev
Aleksandr Alekseyevich Moiseyev (russian: Александр Алексеевич Моисеев; born 16 April 1962) is an officer of the Russian Navy. He currently holds the rank of admiral, and is commander in chief of the Northern Fleet. After initially training in film repair, Moiseyev underwent military service, before studying at the navy's technical institute. From there he joined the Northern Fleet as a submariner. After starting in the engineering branch, he moved into specialising in combat and warfare control. Commended for his service and promoted, he took command of his own boat, from which he performed the first commercial space launch in the navy's history, as well as the first commercial payload that had ever been sent into orbit from a submarine. He undertook further study at the Naval Academy and the Military Academy of the General Staff, interspersed with the command of submarine squadrons. Nikita Nikolayevich Moiseyev (Russian: Никита Николаевич Моисеев) (23 August 1917 – 29 February 2000) was a Soviet and Russian mathematician, full member of the Soviet and Russian Academies of Sciences and of the International Academy of Science, Munich. Biography Moiseyev studied in Moscow State University, and received his doctor's degree from the Steklov Institute. He taught in Bauman Moscow State Technical University and Rostov State University after the war, and was appointed professor in Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology (1956) and became its dean in the department of applied mathematics. His fields of study included applied mathematics, solid state dynamics in liquids, systems analysis, control of the artificial space objects, dynamics of biosphere and its stability (including consequences of nuclear war — "nuclear winter"). Tatiana Moiseeva (russian: Татья́на Ю́рьевна Моисе́ева; born 9 September 1981) is a retired Russian biathlete. Career Moiseeva made her Biathlon World Cup debut in a sprint race in Oslo Holmenkollen during the 2002-03 Biathlon World Cup season. She was in and out of the A-Team for the next few years until she became a permanent member of the team during the 2006-07 Biathlon World Cup season. However, this mostly had to do with several established names on the Russian team having to sit out due to injuries, pregnancies or doping bans. Moiseeva's best-ever results came in the sprint and pursuit in Pokljuka, Slovenia during the 2006-07 Biathlon World Cup season, and again, in the individual in Kontiolahti, Finland the following season. Nikolay Moiseyev
Nikolay Dmitriyevich Moiseyev (russian: Никола́й Дми́триевич Моисе́ев; December 3(16), 1902 in Perm – December 6, 1955 in Moscow) was a Soviet astronomer and expert in celestial mechanics. In 1938, he became the chairman of the department of celestial mechanics at Moscow State University and worked on this position until his death. His main works were devoted to mathematical methods of celestial calculations and theory of comet formation.
