Mohsen Khalili (, born February 14, 1981) is a retired Iranian Soccer, football Forward (association football), forward. Club career Saipa He Played for Saipa F.C., Saipa for several seasons, helping the team win the Iran's Premier League football, Iran Professional League in the Persian Gulf Cup 2006/07, 2006/07 season, scoring 8 goals. He was the team's second topscorer after Ali Daei. Persepolis In June 2007 he signed a 2-year deal with Iranian giants Persepolis F.C., Persepolis for a reported fee of $300,000. Abdolsamad Marfavi (; born May 18, 1964, in Khorramshahr), better known as Samad Marfavi (Persian: ), is an Iranian football coach and former player. Club career He played the majority of his playing career for IPL giants Esteghlal. International career Marfavi debuted for the Iranian national team against Kuwait on February 27, 1987. The 2009 AFC Champions League was the 28th edition of the top-level Asian club football tournament organized by the Asian Football Confederation (AFC), and the 7th under the current AFC Champions League title. The final was held at the National Stadium in Tokyo on 7 November 2009. The winners, South Korean club Pohang Steelers, qualified for the 2009 FIFA Club World Cup in the United Arab Emirates. The champions league was expanded to 35 clubs this year, with 5 teams starting from a knockout qualifying stage. An extra stage in the knockout phase was added so that the runners up as well as the winners from the group stage would progress. The previous season winner no longer got a bye through to the knockout round.
