Mohsen Qara'ati () is an Iranian Twelver Shia cleric who was born in 1945 in the city of Kashan, and his father was Ali Naqi (Qara'ati). Mohsen Namjoo () is an Iranian singer-songwriter, composer, and musician. His style of music is influenced by blues and rock as well as Iranian folk music. Early life and education Namjoo was born on 4 March 1976 in Torbat-e Jam, a small town in Razavi Khorasan province in northeastern Iran. He was raised in the religious city of Mashhad. He started learning classical Persian music when he was 12. Ayatollah Mohsen Mojtahed Shabestari (; 1937 – 17 November 2021) was an Iranian Shiite cleric and politician. He was a member of the 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th Assembly of Experts from the East Azerbaijan electorate. 4th term Mojtahed Shabestari won with 671,254 and last period 743,818 votes. He was MP of Islamic Consultative Assembly in the electoral district of Tehran in the beginning of the revolution for first, second, fourth and fifth terms. Mohsen Mirdamadi (, born 1955 in Najafabad, Isfahan) is an Iranian academic and politician. He is the Deputy Secretary General of "Ettehad-e Mellat", the largest pro-reform political party in Iran. After the 2009 Iranian Presidential Elections, he was sentenced to and put to 6 years of prison, among other leaders of reformist party. Previously, he was elected as a member of the Parliament of Iran (the 6th Majlis) from 2000 until 2004, during which time he chaired the parliament's Commission of National Security and Foreign Policy. Mohsen Kadivar (; born 8 June 1959) is a mujtahid, Islamic theologian, philosopher, writer, leading intellectual reformist, and research professor of Islamic Studies at Duke University.
