Mohammed Rabia Jamaan Al-Noobi ( ar, محمد ربيع جمعان النوبي, born 10 May 1981), commonly known as Mohammed Rabia, is an Omani footballer who plays for Dhofar S.C.S.C. The 17th Arabian Gulf Cup ( ar, كأس الخليج العربي) was held in Doha, Qatar in 2004. It marked the return of the Iraqi National team back to the competition, following the fall of Saddam Hussein. The Asian Football Confederation (AFC) section of 2010 FIFA World Cup qualification was allocated four assured qualifying berths for the final tournament in South Africa and one place in a play-off. 43 teams were in the running for these spots, while Laos, Brunei and the Philippines did not enter qualification. The 20th Arabian Gulf Cup ( ar, كأس الخليج العربي) was the twentieth edition of the biannual Gulf Cup competition, and took place in Aden, Yemen, from 22 November to 5 December 2010. The tournament was held in Yemen for the first time in the tournament's history, and this edition celebrated the 40th anniversary of the cup as well as the 20th anniversary of the tournament. The 2007 AFC Asian Cup qualification was held in late 2005 and the final qualification round was held from February to November 2006 with 25 nations participating.
