Mohammed Hussain
Sayed Mohammed Hussain (1 October 1911 – 28 February 1977) was an Indian field hockey player who competed in the 1936 Summer Olympics. He belonged to the Beary society, whose mother tongue was Beary Bashe. He was the captain for the hockey club Manavadar, which was then a British protectorate. He is said to have had a melodious voice. Field hockey was introduced at the Olympic Games as a men's competition at the 1908 Games in London, with six teams, four from the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland and other two were France and Germany. History Field hockey was removed from the Summer Olympic Games at the 1924 Paris Games because of the lack of an international sporting structure.
