Mohammed Adamu Ramadan
Mohammed Adamu Ramadan (born 3 May 1975) is a Ghanaian politician. He is a member of the National Democratic Congress. He is the member of parliament for the Adenta Constituency. He is the son of politician Ahmed Ramadan and the elder brother of Samira Bawumia, the Second Lady of Ghana. Early life and education Mohammed Adamu Ramadan was born on 3 May 1975. He hails from Ashalley Botwe in the Greater Accra Region. He holds a bachelor's degree of Business Administration, a master's degree in Business Administration with specialization in Finance. He also holds a Master of Arts in Economic Policy Management. Career Ramadan was a Special Assistant and presidential staffer at the Flagstaff House during the Presidency of John Mahama. Adenta is one of the constituencies represented in the Parliament of Ghana. It elects one Member of Parliament (MP) by the first past the post system of election. Adenta is located in the Adentan Municipal District of the Greater Accra Region of Ghana. Boundaries The seat is located within the Adentan Municipal Assembly of the Greater Accra Region of Ghana. Nana Oye Lithur is a Ghanaian barrister and politician. She was the Minister for Gender, Children and Social Protection in Ghana from 2013 to 2017, appointed by President John Mahama after the Ghanaian general election. She is a member of the National Democratic Congress. Biography She was educated at the Ridge Church School and Wesley Girls' High School. She received a Bachelor of Law from the University of Ghana, Legon, and a Masters in Law, Human Rights and Democratization in Africa from the University of Pretoria, South Africa. Ghana International Airlines (GIA) was the national airline of the Republic of Ghana between 2005 and 2010. The airline suspended operations on 13 May 2010. GIA operated scheduled and charter passenger and cargo services. Its main base was Kotoka International Airport, Accra. History The airline was set up in 2004 as a partnership between the government of Ghana and a group of private international investors.
