Mohammadali Geraei
Mohammad Ali Geraei ( fa, محمدعلی گرایی; born 2 May 1994) is a Greco-Roman wrestler from Iran. He won a gold medal at the 2018 Asian Games and a bronze medal at the 2017, 2019 and 2021 World Championships. He competed in the 77kg event at the 2022 World Wrestling Championships held in Belgrade, Serbia. The 2018 Asian Games ( id, Pesta Olahraga Asia 2018 or ''Asian Games 2018''), officially known as the 18th Asian Games and also known as Jakarta-Palembang 2018 or Indonesia 2018, was a Asia, continental multi-sport event that was held from 18 August to 2 September 2018 in Jakarta and Palembang. Mohammad Reza Geraei ( fa, محمدرضا گرایی, born 25 July 1996), is an Iranian Greco-Roman wrestler. At the 2020 Summer Olympics held in Tokyo, Japan, he won the gold medal in the men's 67 kg event. In 2018, he won one of the bronze medals in the men's 67 kg event at the Asian Games held in Jakarta, Indonesia. Career In 2019, he won the gold medal in the 72 kg event at the 2019 Asian Wrestling Championships held in Xi'an, China. At the 2019 World U23 Wrestling Championship held in Budapest, Hungary, he won the gold medal in the men's 72 kg event. In the final, he defeated Sanan Suleymanov of Azerbaijan. 2022 World Wrestling Championships
The 2022 World Wrestling Championships was the 17th edition of the World Wrestling Championships of combined events and was held between 10 and 18 September 2022 in Belgrade, Serbia. The UWW Bureau approved the candidature of Belgrade, Serbia as the host of the 2023 Senior World Championships. However, due to the restrictions on Russia for hosting World Championships in 2021–2022, Belgrade replaced the former city of Krasnoyarsk as the World Championships host for 2022. For 2023 the World Championships host will be reallocated to Russia. In addition, Russian and Belarusian athletes have been banned from 2022 World Championships.
