Mohammad Zillur Rahman (born 17 September 1978) is a Bangladeshi industrialist and politician. He is a former Jatiya Sangsad member representing the Moulvibazar-3 constituency in 2024. He is also the Managing Director of Olila Group. Early life Zillur Rahman was born on 17 September 1978 in Tarapasha, Rajnagar, Moulvibazar. His father's name is Abdul Mosabbir, who was the former chairman of Kamarchak Union Parishad. Career Rahman is a businessman. He is the Managing Director of Olila Group (Olila Glassware), a glass manufacturing company in Bangladesh. He is also a director of Viva Creations. He is the president of Abahani Supporters Forum and the founder of Sheikh Russell Indoor Stadium. He was a president of the governing body of Tarapasha High School and College. Rajnagar Upazila
Rajnagar () is an upazila of the Moulvibazar District in Sylhet Division, Bangladesh. The district has roughly 43,070 houses and an area of approximately 340 km2. There are three well-known rivers which flow across the Upazila border side of Rajnagar: the Kushiara in the North, the Manu across the southern three unions (Kamarchak, Tengrabazar, and Mansurnager), and the Dholai across Kamarchak and the southern border. Moulvibazar (), is a town in north-eastern Bangladesh just south of Sylhet. It is the capital of Moulvibazar Sadar Upazila and Moulvibazar District, and is located on the banks of the Manu River, Tripura, Manu River. History In 1771, Moulvi Syed Qudratullah established a bazaar near the banks of the Manu River, Tripura, Manu River using his zamindari land. He started importing edible goods, such as fruits and vegetables opening up opportunities for people to purchase as well as sell. The location allowed easy access through river and land transport. Moulvibazar District, () also spelled Moulavibazar, or Maulavibazar, (previous name: South Sylhet) is the southeastern district of Sylhet Division in northeastern Bangladesh, named after the town of Moulvibazar.
