Mohammad Shafi Qureshi
Mohammad Shafi Abbasi Qureshi (24 November 1928 – 28 August 2016) was an Indian politician and statesman from Kashmir and the founder of the Congress Party in the Indian state of Jammu and Kashmir. Life He was born on 24 November 1928 in Kashmir to contractor Haji Mohammad Amin Abbasi who was the first transporter of Union Council Birote, near Kohala Bridge District Abbottabad, Pakistan before 1947. He studied in Tyndale Biscoe School. He has served in various capacities in his long and very active political career. He was elected to Rajya Sabha from Jammu and Kashmir in 1965 and later elected to Lok Sabha from Anantnag in 1971 and 1977 elections. Digvijaya Singh
Digvijaya Singh (born 28 February 1947) is an Indian politician and a Member of Parliament in the Rajya Sabha since 2014. He is a senior leader of the Indian National Congress and Ex-General Secretary of the Indian National Congress party's All India Congress Committee. Previously, he had served as the 14th and 15th Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh, a central Indian state, in two terms from 1993 to 1998 and from 1998 to 2003. Prior to that he was a minister in Chief Minister Arjun Singh's cabinet between 1980 and 1984. In 2019 Indian general election he was defeated by Pragya Singh Thakur for Bhopal Lok Sabha seat. Mehbooba Mufti
Mehbooba Bur Mufti Sayed (Urdu: محبوبہ مفتی سید; born 22 May 1959) in Bijbihara Anantnag district is an Indian politician and leader of the Jammu and Kashmir People's Democratic Party (PDP), who served as the 9th and last chief minister of the erstwhile state Jammu and Kashmir from 4 April 2016 to 19 June 2018. She was the first female chief minister of Jammu and Kashmir. After the revocation of Article 370 of the constitution in August 2019, Mufti was detained without any charges at first and later under the Jammu and Kashmir Public Safety Act. Tyndale Biscoe School is a school in the Sheikh Bagh neighbourhood, in the Lal Chowk area of Srinagar, Jammu and Kashmir (union territory), Jammu and Kashmir. The school was founded in 1880 CE and is one of the oldest schools in Jammu and Kashmir, the oldest being Sri Pratap Higher Secondary School, S.P school which was founded in 1874 CE.
