Mohammad Reza Heidarian
Mohammad Reza Heidarian ( fa, محمدرضا حیدریان; born 17 February 1974) is an Iranian professional futsal coach and former player. He was a Winger for Esteghlal, Ceccano, Qatar SC, Elmo Adab, Persepolis and was the captain of Iran national futsal team. He has been awarded the most valuable player of the Asian Futsal Championship. Heidarian played for ''Ceccano Calcio a 5'', a Serie A2 futsal side based in the small town of Ceccano. He was highly successful at the club and was selected as captain of the club in the 2004-05 season. Following Iran's success in the 2008 AFC Futsal Championship, Heidarian decided to bid farewell from international futsal and retired from the national side. Futsal Forwards
Futsal is a football-based game played on a hard court smaller than a football pitch, and mainly indoors. It has similarities to five-a-side football and indoor football. Futsal is played between two teams of five players each, one of whom is the goalkeeper. Unlimited substitutions are permitted. Unlike some other forms of indoor soccer, it is played on a hard court surface marked by lines; walls or boards are not used. It is played with a smaller, harder, lower-bounce ball than football. The surface, ball and rules favour ball control and passing in small spaces. The game emphasizes control, improvisation, creativity and technique. Vahid Shamsaei ( fa, وحید شمسايی ; born 21 September 1975) is an Iranian professional futsal coach and former player. He was a Pivot and he scored 392 goals in international matches. He is currently head coach of Iran national futsal team. Shamsaei has been named AFC Futsal Player of the Year on three occasions (2007, 2008 and 2015). He has also won eight AFC Futsal Championships with Iran. Shamsaei is regarded as the ''Ali Daei of futsal'' by the Asian Football Confederation. Ceccano is a town and ''comune'' in the province of Frosinone, Lazio, central Italy, in the Latin Valley.
