Mohammad Jafar Asadi
Mohammad Jafar Asadi ( fa, محمدجعفر اسدی) is an Iranian senior military officer in the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps and the deputy commander of Khatam-al Anbiya Central Headquarter. He previously commanded IRGC Ground Forces between 2008 and 2009. Sardar (Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps)
Sardar ( fa, سردار), roughly equivalent to "General", is the honorific title used for officers of high rank, ranking Second Brigadier General and higher in the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps and commanders of the Law Enforcement Force of Islamic Republic of Iran (Police) who have previously served in the former military or the Islamic Revolution Committees, as well as the commanders of the disbanded Jihad of Construction. Mohammad Reza Zahedi
Mohammad Reza Zahedi ( fa, محمدرضا زاهدی; 2 November 1960 – 1 April 2024) was an Iranian military officer. A senior figure within the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), he had previously commanded the IRGC Aerospace Force and the IRGC Ground Forces, and was commanding the Quds Force in Lebanon and Syria at the time of his death. In 2024, Zahedi was killed by an Israeli airstrike on the Iranian consulate in Damascus. According to the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation, he was the only Iranian to sit on the '' Shura'', or guiding council, of Hezbollah. According to '' The Guardian'', he was most likely a critical figure in coordinating Iran's relationship with Hezbollah in Lebanon and the Assad government of Syria. Mohammad Pakpour ( fa, محمد پاکپور) is a Brigadier-General and Commander of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps Ground Forces since 2009. History Mohammad Pakpour was involved with the IRGC at the beginning of the Islamic Revolution in the Kurdistan Province and was a veteran of the 8-year-long Iran–Iraq War. His responsibilities include five years of Army Operations Command, commander of the 8th Najaf Division, commander of 31st Ashura Division of Command chief Army's Northern Command headquarters. 33rd Al-Mahdi Division
33rd Al-Mahdi Division ( fa, لشکر 33 المهدی (عج), named after the twelfth Shia Imam, Al-Mahdi) was a brigade of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps. It was established on 24 February 1982 before Operation Fath ol-Mobin in the Iran–Iraq War, with Ali Fazli as its commander. It was part of the 7th Fajr Division for some time during the war. After Operation Beit ol-Moqaddas, there was some reform in the structure of the brigade, and Mohammad Jaafar Asadi was made as the commander, and remained the commander of the unit until the end of the war. On 24 April 1983 the brigade was separated from the 19th Fajr Division and became part of the newly founded 7th Corps.
