Mohammad Abu Hashish
Mohammad Ali Hasan Abu Hashish (; born 9 May 1995) is a professional footballer who plays as a left-back for Iraq Stars League side Zakho. Born in Iraq, he represents the Jordan national team. Career Abu Hashish began his senior career with the Jordanian club Al-Baqa'a, before moving to Al-Salt in 2020. On 1 February 2022, he moved to Al-Wehdat and helped them win the 2022 Jordanian Pro League. On 10 January 2023, he transferred to the Iraqi club Al-Zawraa on a short-term contract. On 10 July 2023 he moved to the Lebanese club Al Ahed. On 15 August 2024, Abu Hashish moved to Iraq Stars League club Zakho. International Eligible for Jordan and Iraq, Abu Hashish was first called up to the senior Jordan national team in a friendly 2–1 win over Bahrain on 7 September 2021. Jordan National Football Team
The Jordan national football team (), nicknamed ''Al Nashama'' (), represents Jordan in men's international football. It is under the jurisdiction of the Jordan Football Association. Jordan has played in five AFC Asian Cup tournaments, appearing in the final of a major tournament for the first time in the 2023 edition, finishing as runners-up. They also reached the semi-finals of the FIFA Arab Cup in 2002, and have won the Arab Games twice, in 1997 and 1999. The team reached the WAFF Championship final on three occasions but never won it. 2023–24 AFC Cup
The 2023–24 AFC Cup was the 20th edition of the AFC Cup, Asia's secondary club football tournament organized by the Asian Football Confederation (AFC), and the final edition under the AFC Cup title, as the competition was revamped under the name ''AFC Champions League Two'' starting in 2024–25. This was the first AFC Cup season to have a two-year (autumn-to-spring) schedule, unlike the previous all-year-round (spring-to-autumn) schedule. As the title holders, Al-Seeb qualified for the 2023–24 AFC Champions League playoff stage. So they were unable to defend their title. Al-Zawra'a Sports Club () is an Iraqi professional sports club based in Utayfia, Karkh District (near Tigris River), Baghdad. Their football team competes in the Iraq Stars League, the top-flight of Iraqi football. Al-Wehdat Sports Club () is a Jordanian sports club founded in 1956. They compete in the Jordanian Pro League, the top flight of Jordanian football. The club is based in and represents the Amman New Camp, a Palestinian refugee camp also known as Al-Wehdat. Their home games are played at King Abdullah II Stadium (cap. 13,265).
