Mohamed Mahbub Alam
Mohamed Mahbub Alam (1 October 1972 – 4 December 2010) was a Bangladeshi sprinter. In men's 200 metres sprint, he won gold in the 1995 South Asian Games in Madras and silver in the 1999 South Asian Games in Kathmandu. He also earned the national record of 10.54 seconds in the 100 metres sprint which 1996 Bangladesh National Athletics Championship. He received 2013 Bangladesh National Sports Award in the athletics category. Narayanganj District
Narayanganj District ( bn, নারায়ণগঞ্জ, Narayoṇgonj) is a district in central Bangladesh which is a part of the Dhaka Division. It is home to the ancient city of Sonargaon and is one of the oldest industrial districts in the country. The district lies on the banks of the Shitalakshya River and the Meghna River. It is an industrial hub and plays an important part in the country's jute trade, plant processing and sector. It is nicknamed the " Dundee of Bangladesh" due to the presence of many jute mills.
