Mohamed Benouza
Mohamed Abderrezak Benouza ( ar, محمد بنوزة) (born 26 September 1972 in Oran) is an Algerian football referee who currently resides in Oran. He has been a full international referee for FIFA since 2001. Career He was selected as a referee for the 2007 FIFA Under 20 World Cup in Canada, where he refereed the match between Panama and the Democratic People's Republic of Korea on 30 June 2007. He then took charge of the game between New Zealand and Mexico on 8 July 2007. Benouza was also selected for the Africa Cup of Nations of 2006 in Egypt, 2008 in Ghana, 2010 in Angola, 2012 in Gabon and Equatorial Guinea and 2013 in South Africa. Oran
Oran ( ar, وَهران, Wahrān) is a major coastal city located in the north-west of Algeria. It is considered the second most important city of Algeria after the capital Algiers, due to its population and commercial, industrial, and cultural importance. It is west-south-west from Algiers. 2008 Africa Cup Of Nations
The 2008 Africa Cup of Nations, also known as the MTN Africa Cup of Nations due to the competition's sponsorship by MTN, was the 26th edition of the Africa Cup of Nations, the biennial football tournament for nations affiliated to the Confederation of African Football (CAF). The tournament was staged at four venues around Ghana between 20 January and 10 February 2008. This was the last Africa Cup of Nations to use the old CAF logo. Egypt won the tournament, beating Cameroon 1–0 in the final. As winners, they qualified for the 2009 FIFA Confederations Cup as the CAF representatives.
