Mohamed Afrah
Mohamed Afrah Hassan, commonly known as Mohamed Afrah (17 January 1974 – 7 April 2019) was a Maldivian film actor and producer. Career Afrah was featured in the most successful Maldivian film of 2000, Ahmed Nimal's horror classic ''Zalzalaa'', where he played the traumatized son observing supernatural events in his family. The film follows a man who lost his life and endangering his whole family while being lured by a female spirit sent off to complete an unfulfilled prophecy. Afrah's first release in 2001 was Ali Shameel's drama film ''Hithi Nimun'', starred alongside Mariyam Nisha, Mohamed Shavin and Sheereen Abdul Wahid, which follows the storyline of a stubborn young man (played by Shavin) who abandons his girlfriend when he discovers about her pregnancy. Thimarafushi (Thaa Atoll)
The island of Thimarafushi (Dhivehi: ތިމަރަފުށި), (pronounced "thi-ma-ra-fu-shi") is one of the inhabited islands of the Maldives. Geography The island is south of the country's capital, Malé. The island is geographically located in the Thaa Atoll, which is also known as the Kolhumadulu Atoll. Demography The island has a recorded population of 4253 people as of July 2013. Women The number of women in the island is comparatively small compared to the population of males. The number of females under 18 years of age was 422. Aishath Shiranee
Aishath Shiranee (born 16 January 1975) is a Maldivian former film actress. Shiranee is the recipient of several awards, including one Gaumee Film Award and three Aafathis Awards. In 2001, the Government of Maldives honoured her with the National Award of Recognition. ''Jinni'' is a 2010 Maldivian horror film directed by Abdul Faththaah. Produced by Ahmed Sharan Hassan under Dash Studio, the film stars Ali Seezan, Mariyam Afeefa and Amira Ismail in pivotal roles. The film was released on 28 January 2010. The film is based on a true stories that occurred in an island of Maldives. The entire film is shot at B. Kamadhoo. The film took eight months to be completed and ready for release. Plot The film starts with the scene Javid ( Ali Seezan) and his father quarreling about his wedding proposal to a girl named Nasiha ( Amira Ismail), who is the daughter of Javid's father's friend. Career Faisal made his film debut with the romantic film '' Loaiybahtakaa'' (2009), written and directed by Yoosuf Shafeeu in which he stars as businessman from a wealthy family struggling to express his feelings. Fathimath Fareela (24 October 1984) is a Maldivian film actress. Yoosuf Shafeeu also known as Eupe (20 October 1975) is a Maldivian film actor, director, producer, writer and editor. Nashidha Mohamed (born 2 January 1982) is a Maldivian actress who has established a career in the Maldivian film industry.
