Moe Bar-El
Moe Bar-El (born 18 May 1992) is a British-Iranian actor. He is known for his theatre work, earning an affiliate Laurence Olivier Award nomination, and his roles in the Canal+ series '' The Bureau'' (2016) and the ITV drama ''Honour'' (2020). Early life Bar-El was born in Shiraz and moved to London with his mother and brother when he was ten. He attended City and Islington College, where he pursued a Level 3 BTEC National Diploma in Performing Arts from 2010 to 2012. He then trained part-time at Identity School of Acting for three years. He speaks Persian and English. Career After appearing in short films and Bola Agbaje's web series ''Hot Pepper'', Bar-El made his television debut in 2016 when he joined the main cast of the French Canal+ political thriller '' The Bureau'' for its second season as Shapur Zamani. The Society of London Theatre (SOLT) is an umbrella organisation for West End theatre in London. Founded in 1908, as Society of West End Theatre Managers, then Society of West End Theatre in 1975, changing to its current name in 1994, the (SOLT) is a not-for-profit organisation which provides a collective voice for the theatre owners, producers and managers of all the major commercial and grant-aided theatres across London. Theatre Royal Stratford East
The Theatre Royal Stratford East is a 460 seat Victorian producing theatre in Stratford in the London Borough of Newham. Since 1953, it has been the home of the Theatre Workshop company, famously associated with director Joan Littlewood, whose statue is outside the theatre (see image at left). History The theatre was designed by architect James George Buckle, and commissioned by Charles Dillon, né Silver, adoptive son of the actor-manager Charles Dillon (died 1881) in 1884. It is the architect's only surviving work, built on the site of a wheelwright's shop on Salway Road, close to the junction with Angel Lane. It opened on 17 December 1884 with a revival of ''Richelieu'' by Edward Bulwer-Lytton. The Curran Theatre, located at 445 Geary Street between Taylor and Mason Streets in the Theatre District of San Francisco, California opened in February 1922, and was named after its first owner, Homer Curran. As of 2014, the theater is owned by Carole Shorenstein Hays. Paines Plough is a touring theatre company founded in 1974 by writer David Pownall and director John Adams. The company specialises exclusively in commissioning and producing new plays and helping playwrights develop their craft.
