Modest Mouse
Modest Mouse is an American rock music, rock band formed in 1993 in Issaquah, Washington, and currently based in Portland, Oregon. The founding members were lead singer/guitarist Isaac Brock (musician), Isaac Brock, drummer Jeremiah Green and bassist Eric Judy. They achieved critical acclaim for their albums ''The Lonesome Crowded West'' (1997) and ''The Moon & Antarctica'' (2000) and found mainstream success with the release of ''Good News for People Who Love Bad News'' (2004) and its singles "Float On (Modest Mouse song), Float On" and "Ocean Breathes Salty". From their 1996 debut album ''This Is a Long Drive for Someone with Nothing to Think About'' onwards, the band's lineup mostly centered on Brock and Green, undergoing multiple changes. Tom Peloso is an American musician. He is a current active member of the indie rock Rock band, band Modest Mouse. Peloso has played with Modest Mouse since their 2004 album, ''Good News for People Who Love Bad News'', including their latest release, ''The Golden Casket''. He also plays in his own band, Tom Peloso and The Virginia Sheiks. Before joining Modest Mouse, Peloso was a founding member of the Charlottesville based Bluegrass music, bluegrass group The Hackensaw Boys, playing upright bass and fiddle. Two of his songs, "Hobo" and "Sweet Petunia", appear on their album ''Look Out!'' John Martin Marr (Birth name#Maiden and married names, né Maher; born 31 October 1963) is a musician, songwriter and singer. Talkdemonic is an avant-instrumental duo based in Portland, Oregon. The band consists of Kevin O'Connor and Lisa Molinaro. Talkdemonic signed with Isaac Brock's Glacial Pace Records to release their fourth record in Fall 2011. History Talkdemonic was established by O'Connor in December 2002 after he moved from Pullman, Washington, to Portland. It began as a musical project to express his obsession with instrumental hip hop and electronic music. O'Connor said he was at a local club when he heard a voice utter the word "talkdemonic" and he felt it fit his new project perfectly. Their first album, Mutiny Sunshine, was released in May 2004 by Lucky Madison. It was recorded over the period of a year at talknumeric and Miracle Lake studios with Skyler Norwood engineering. Kirby James Fairchild is an American guitarist and singer-songwriter. He is best known as a guitarist of the indie rock bands Grandaddy and Modest Mouse. Fairchild has released solo material under the pseudonym All Smiles. Biography Born in Fresno, California, Fairchild moved to Modesto at the age of two, and began to play guitar at the age of 14. He has lived in Los Angeles, Chicago, Portland, Oregon, San Francisco, and New York City. Since 2014 he has lived in Los Angeles. Dann Gallucci
Dann Michael Gallucci (born March 31, 1975) is an American songwriter, producer, musician and audio engineer best known for his work with Modest Mouse, The Murder City Devils, and Cold War Kids. Born and raised in the Pacific Northwest, Gallucci met Modest Mouse's Isaac Brock in Seattle, Washington in 1993, playing guitar with the band intermittently before joining full-time to record several singles that would eventually appear on the album Sad Sappy Sucker, released by independent record label K Records in 2001. While in Modest Mouse, Gallucci co-founded the punk bands Area 51 and Death Wish Kids, featuring members that would go on to form The Murder City Devils. Area 51 recorded one single with Nation of Ulysses' Tim Green, and Death Wish Kids would record two singles before disbanding. Joseph E. Plummer is an American drummer from Portland, Oregon. From 2004 to 2012, Plummer was a percussionist and drummer for the indie rock band Modest Mouse and performed on their album, ''We Were Dead Before the Ship Even Sank''. Before joining Modest Mouse, Plummer played with the indie rock bands The Black Heart Procession and The Magic Magicians. Plummer was one of the 88 drummers who participated in Japanese noise rock pioneers Boredoms 88 Boadrum performance on August 8, 2008. Eric Scott Judy (born November 16, 1974) is an American musician best known as the original bass guitarist, co-founder, and backing vocalist of the indie rock band Modest Mouse. Judy departed the group in roughly 2011 or early 2012. He informed band members that he was leaving Modest Mouse in advance of recording for ''Strangers To Ourselves''.
