Modelsaint
ModelSaint is an American hard rock band from Los Angeles, California, United States. The band was formed in 2010 by Skyla Talon (guitars and lead vocals). From 2005- 2008 Skyla was on full-time guitar duty as a member of Scum of the Earth, a band fronted by former Rob Zombie guitarist Riggs. Skyla is also well known for the long established gutter rock band Killingbird, who recently released their album ''Scar'' in 2009. Dan Laudo from the metal band Prong is the backbone in ModelSaint. Dan got his drumming start by teaming up with Nine Inch Nails founder Trent Reznor. Dan met up with Skyla Talon in 2007 while on tour with Scum of the Earth. The teaming up kickstarted the song writing process and led to the formation of ModelSaint in 2010. Skyla Talon
Skyla Talon is an American hard rock guitarist, singer-songwriter and record producer. Skyla is the vocalist/guitar player in Modelsaint. He is also known for his role as the guitarist in Scum of the Earth which is fronted by Riggs, formerly of Rob Zombie. Talon is also the founding member of Killingbird and Blackburner. Biography Early life Skyla grew up in Mount Pleasant, Michigan and started playing guitar at an early age. Skyla soon moved to Los Angeles where he formed the gutter rock band Killingbird. In 2002 they were signed to 2KSounds and distributed by EMI Music. Killingbird released two albums in the next couple years including their self-titled release and ''Waste Another Yesterday''. Factory 81
Factory 81 were an American nu metal band from Detroit, Michigan, United States. Formed in 1997, the band was active until 2003. Biography The band had not initially decided on a name until Nathan Wallace wore a shirt bearing a patch which read "Factory 81", and the rest of the band thought that "it sounded good", deciding that this would be the name of their band. Factory 81 released their only album, ''Mankind'' in 1999 on Medea Records; while it did not chart, it was reissued by The Orchard in 2000 and Universal Motown Republic Group on October 3, 2000. In 2001, the album was reissued by the independent record label Mojo Records. Michael Trent Reznor (born May 17, 1965) is an American musician, singer, songwriter, record producer, and composer. He serves as the lead vocalist, multi-instrumentalist, and principal songwriter of the industrial rock band Nine Inch Nails, which he founded in 1988 and of which he was the sole official member until 2016. Mike Riggs (born April 23, 1971) is an American heavy metal guitarist. The highlights of his career include his work for Rob Zombie's solo albums ('' Hellbilly Deluxe'', '' The Sinister Urge'', '' American Made Music To Strip By'', ''Hellbilly Super Deluxe'', '' Past, Present & Future'') and currently his skills as a guitarist, vocalist, and producer for Scum of the Earth. Career history Riggs' career as a musician started at the age of 19 in 1990 when he started the band Demiltry in Austin, Texas, for whom he played the rhythm guitar and sang lead vocals. Hard rock or heavy rock is a loosely defined subgenre of rock music typified by aggressive vocals and distorted electric guitars. Hard rock began in the mid-1960s with the garage, psychedelic and blues rock movements.
