Mocca (band)
Mocca is an Indonesian four-member jazz and swing band based in Jakarta. The band Mocca was formed in 1997 by Arina Ephipania (vocals, flute) and Riko Prayitno (guitar), who met while studying at the National Institute of Technology. In a 2004 interview with The Straits Times Ephipania said ''"Riko was influenced by rock music, I was fascinated by motion picture music and story telling, so we came up with this concept of telling stories in a musical form."'' The other two principal members are Achmad Pratama (a.k.a. Toma) (bass) and Indra Massad (drums). They signed with independent label Fast Forward Records in 2002. The band is popular in Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Japan, Korea and Taiwan. Mocca's fans are called ''Swinging Friends''. MTV Indonesia (PT Musik Televisi Indonesia until 2007) was an MTV-affiliated Indonesian television network. The network, which originally launched on May 5, 1995, on ANteve, was the fifth affiliate launched under the MTV brand. OzAsia Festival
OzAsia Festival, or simply OzAsia, is a major arts festival in Adelaide, South Australia. It is an Asia-focused festival presented by the Adelaide Festival Centre for two weeks in late October to early November each year. Founded in 2007, the festival features theatre, dance, music,film, and visual arts from across Asia as well as outdoor events and food stalls. Mosaic Music Festival was an annual 10-day-long music festival in Singapore that featured both local and overseas acts. From 2005-2014, the festival showcased a variety of music genres, ranging from indie-folk to hip-hop. It aimed to provide a platform for interaction between Singapore and International artists.
