Moa Gammel
Moa Tuva Amanda Gammel (born 6 October 1980) is a Swedish actress. She made her acting debut in the 1996 Mikael Håfström film ''Skuggornas hus'' and then acted in the soap opera '' Vita lögner'' on TV3. Her breakthrough came in the 2006 film by Johan Brisinger called '' Underbara Älskade''. She also had roles in ''Sommaren med Göran'' in 2009 opposite David Hellenius. In 2015, she had a lead role in the drama series ''Jordskott''. In linguistics and social sciences, markedness is the state of standing out as nontypical or divergent as opposed to regular or common. In a marked–unmarked relation, one term of an opposition is the broader, dominant one. The dominant default or minimum-effort form is known as ''unmarked''; the other, secondary one is ''marked''. Jordskott
''Jordskott'' (, "soil shoot") is a Swedish TV thriller, crime drama series with fantasy elements. Police detective Eva Thörnblad ( Moa Gammel) investigates the disappearance of her daughter and other mysteries in her hometown of Silverhöjd. The title refers to ''jordskott'', a fictional plant parasite, which enhances one's perceptions but feeds off the host's blood. The series was first broadcast by SVT in 2015 with ten episodes. Filming took place in Sala and Ragunda in mid-2014. The series then began broadcasting on ITV Encore in the UK on June 10, 2015, and on Canal+ Seriale in Poland on October 10, 2016.
