Choi Min-ho (; Korean pronunciation: Help:IPA/Korean, [tsʰø.min.ho]; born December 9, 1991), known :wikt:mononym, mononymously as Minho, is a South Korean singer, songwriter, rapper and actor. In May 2008, he debuted as a member of South Korean boy band Shinee which later became one of the best-selling Korean artists. The Minho ( ; ) or Miño ( ; ; ; ) is the longest river in the autonomous community of Galicia in Spain, with a length of . It forms a part of the international border between Spain and Portugal. By discharge volume, it is the fourth largest river of the Iberian Peninsula after the Douro, Ebro, and Tagus rivers. The Minho waters vineyards and farmland and is used to produce hydroelectric power. It also delineates a section of the Spanish– Portuguese border. In ancient English maps, it appears as Minno. The source of the Minho lies north of Lugo in Galicia, in a place called '' Pedregal de Irimia''. Minho Province
Minho () was a former province in Portugal, established in 1936 and dissolved in 1976. It consisted of 23 municipalities, with its capital in the city of Braga. Today, the area would include the districts of Braga and Viana do Castelo. Minho has substantial Celtic influences and shares many cultural traits with neighbouring Galicia, in northwestern Spain. The region was part of the Roman Province and early Germanic medieval Kingdom of Gallaecia. Historical remains of Celtic Minho include Briteiros Iron Age Hillfort, the largest Gallaecian native stronghold in the Entre Douro e Minho region, in north Portugal. Miño is a municipality in the province of A Coruña, in the autonomous community of Galicia, Spain. It belongs to the comarca of Betanzos. It has a population of 6.946 (Galician 2024 Census) and an area of 35,9 km². Geography The municipality, with an area of 32.97 km², covers eight parishes: Bemantes, Callobre, Carantoña, Leiro, Castro, Miño, Perbes and Vilanova. Miño Volcano is a symmetrical cone-shaped stratovolcano located in El Loa Province, Antofagasta Region, Chile. It lies a few kilometres northwest of Aucanquilcha volcano and at its foot originates Loa River. The major settlement in its vicinity is Ollagüe at the border with Bolivia. The volcano has erupted mafic andesite. Potassium-argon dating has yielded ages of 3.59±0.11 and 3.27±0.40 million years ago for Miño.
