Miyoko Asō
was a Japanese actress. She is best known for her role as the first voice of Fune Isono from 1969 to 2015 in the longest-running Japanese anime series '' Sazae-san'', which first aired in 1969. She was the voice of Dr. Pinako Rockbell in both ''Fullmetal Alchemist'' anime adaptations. Asō also starred as an actress in cinema, in the 2006 movie '' Aogeba Tōtoshi'', directed by Jun Ichikawa. Miyoko Schinner (née Nishimoto; born 1957) is an American-Japanese vegan chef, cookbook author, activist, cooking show host and social entrepreneur. Since 2024, she has been a Faculty Lecturer at the University of California, Berkeley's Haas School of Business. Early life and education Schinner was born in a town outside of Tokyo, Japan as Miyoko Nishimoto. She left Japan and moved to the United States when she was seven. The Oriental Hotel murder occurred on 6 June 1994, when two Japanese tourists were robbed and attacked by two men in their shared room in the Oriental Hotel in Singapore. One of them was brutally assaulted and died, while the other survived. The case, known as the Oriental Hotel murder, was classified as murder by the police.
