Miya (musician)
, better known as , is a Japanese musician, songwriter, and record producer. He is best known as guitarist and leader of the visual kei rock band Mucc since 1997. He is also a guitarist of the supergroup Petit Brabancon (band), Petit Brabancon. In addition to his work as a musician, Miya also works as a DJ and as a record producer and audio engineer for other artists. His private recording studio is named Sixinc Studio2. He also makes and sells homemade audio equipment with engineer Koji Watanabe under the brand name . Early life Miya was born on July 26, 1979, in rural Ishioka, Ibaraki, Japan. He described the area around his parents' house as village-like, and said his grandfather's house had cows, pigs, and goats around it. Zekū
is the third studio album released by Japanese band Mucc on September 3, 2003. Released by Universal Gear, it is their major label debut. ''Zekū'' reached number 17 on the Oricon Albums Chart. Recording and release In 2022, guitarist and principal songwriter Miya recalled that recording ''Zekū'' was painful as they were in the studio until 5 a.m. every day. He also insisted on recording with tape, but had to splice it in so many different places because he made mistakes in his performance, that the powder came out. They originally had a ¥10 million budget, but costs went up to ¥15 million because recording took so long. Miya said that prior to ''Zekū'' (2003) and '' Kuchiki no Tō'' (2004), his lyrics were about past events and "traumas" he experienced, but with these two albums he wrote about present inner feelings within the band. Hōmura Uta
is the second studio album by the Japanese rock band Mucc, released on September 6, 2002. It is the first album to be released by their sublabel Shu, under Danger Crue. ''Hōmura Uta'' was reissued two times, with the 2004 version reaching number 48 on the Oricon Albums Chart. Mucc re-recorded the entire album and released it as on August 9, 2017. Overview ''Hōmura Uta'' was released on September 6, 2002, as the first album by Mucc's record label Shu, a sublabel of Danger Crue. The album cover was illustrated by manga artist Junji Ito. The first pressing includes two discs; the second of which contains two additional songs and a 24-minute comment on the album. ''Hōmura Uta'' sold out quickly, and the following month a reissue was released on October 18, without the second disc but with the first one enhanced with the music video for the song "Zetsubō". Danger Crue Records is a Japanese visual kei independent record label located in Tokyo, Japan. It was originally the record label of the Danger Crue music office, both founded in 1981. According to D'erlanger drummer Tetsu, Danger Crue was formed for the heavy metal band 44Magnum. The first release by Danger Crue was the album ''Insane'' by Reaction in July 1985. In April 2000, the office changed its name to the Maverick D.C. Group but continues to run the Danger Crue Records label. Mastering is a form of audio post production which is the process of preparing and transferring recorded audio from a source containing the Audio mixing (recorded music), final mix to a data storage device called a master recording, the source from which all copies will be produced (via methods such as pressing, duplication or Replication (optical media), replication). is a Japanese singer and songwriter. He is best known as lead vocalist of the visual kei rock band Mucc since 1997. Tatsuro began a solo career in December 2021 and simultaneously released the albums ''= (Equal)'' and ''Hikagaku Hoteishiki'' the following year. Both reached the top 35 on the Oricon chart. His third album, ''Colors'' (2024), became his highest-charting solo release to date when it reached number 29. Early life Tatsuro was born in Mito, Ibaraki on August 21, 1979, as the youngest of three kids. His family home doubled as a hair salon, and each of his family members is a hairdresser.
