Mix Tape (miniseries)
''Mix Tape'' is an Irish-Australian miniseries starring Teresa Palmer and Jim Sturgess, which premiered on Binge on 12 June 2025. It is adapted from the novel of the same title by Jane Sanderson and recounts the story of a couple who fell in love in the late 1980s and reconnect decades later whilst on opposite sides of the world. Premise In Sheffield in 1989, a blossoming romance develops between Alison and Daniel. Many years later, and living on opposite sides of the world, they reconnect over their shared memories of music. Jane Sanderson
Jane Sanderson (born 17 August 1962 in Barnsley, South Yorkshire) is a British novelist. Sanderson was educated at Kirk Balk School in Hoyland, and at Leicester University. She was a newspaper journalist before joining the BBC, where she was a producer on ''The World At One'', '' PM'', and ''Woman's Hour''. In 2011, Sanderson's debut novel, ''Netherwood'', was published by Little, Brown. Set in a Yorkshire pit village around the turn of the 20th century, and based in part on Sanderson's own family history, it has been widely acclaimed and is the first in a series. The sequel, ''Ravenscliffe'', was published in September 2012, and the third book in the series, ''Eden Falls'', in September 2013. TV Tonight is an Australian-based website which features reviews, news and programming information related to television in Australia as well as OzTAM ratings information. The site was started by television critic David Knox in 2007 after listeners of his radio programs asked him for information they had missed. Knox runs the site, publishing his interviews with Australian media actors, producers, directors and programmers. Knox regularly visits the sets of Australian television series and reviews television programs. Knox also served as television critic for ABC Radio National's breakfast program from 2009 to 2015.
