Mittådalen
Mittådalen also known as ''Mittådalens sameby'' (south-sami: Mïhte), is a Sami village in the north west part of Härjedalen, Sweden. It is located between Ljusnedal Härjedalens kommun and Storsjö in Bergs kommun. Mittådalen is one of Sweden's 51 Sami villages. Jon Henrik Fjällgren
Jon Henrik Mario Fjällgren (born 26 April 1987) is a Colombian-born Swedish-Sámi singer and ''jojkare'', an interpreter of Sámi joik. He was the winner of '' Talang Sverige 2014'', the Swedish version of ''Got Talent''. Upon winning the competition he released the music album '' Goeksegh''. He has participated in Melodifestivalen four times, in 2015 he placed second, in 2017 he placed third, and in 2019 and 2023 he placed fourth. Fjällgren has been a member of the Sámi Parliament of Sweden since the 2021 election. He represents the political party '' Sámit''. Biography Fjällgren was born in Cali, Colombia. At a very young age, he lived in a Native Colombian village and later moved to an orphanage. Fjällgren later was adopted by a Swedish Sami family, and became part of a ''siida'' community in Mittådalen, a reindeer foraging area where he worked as a reindeer herder. Flatruet () is a fell in north western Härjedalen, Sweden, between Mittådalen in Härjedalen Municipality Härjedalen Municipality (, ) is a municipality in Jämtland County in northern Sweden. Flatruet comprises many ravines dating back to the end of the ice age. The ravines were formed when the ice lake in the Messlingen valley area burst and rushed down into the valley below. The majority of the ravines reside on the south side of Flatruet. Evagraven is probably the most famous ravine of Flatruet and is located 2 kilometers west of Ruänden's rock art. An old Swedish legend says that a lady named Eva died in the ravine during a snowstorm, which is how the ravine got its name. Härjedalen
Härjedalen () is a historical province (''landskap'') in the centre of Sweden. It borders the Norwegian county of Trøndelag, as well as the provinces of Dalarna, Hälsingland, Medelpad and Jämtland. The province originally belonged to Norway, but was ceded to Sweden in the Second Treaty of Brömsebro in 1645. The province forms the bulk of Härjedalen Municipality of which the village of Sveg is the seat. Bergs Kommun
Berg Municipality (, ) is a municipality in Jämtland County in northern Sweden. Its seat is located in Svenstavik. The present municipality was formed in 1971 when "old" Berg Municipality was amalgamated with four other entities. As often in northern Sweden the municipality is one of the larger in terms of area, but one of the smaller in terms of population. Geography The nature reserve Hoverberget lies within Berg Municipality, near Svenstavik. The high mountain Helags and Sweden's highest public road, over Flatruet, are located in the western end of Berg Municipality.
