Mithya (film)
''Mithya'' () is a 2008 Indian Hindi-language black comedy film co-written and directed by Rajat Kapoor and produced by Planman Motion Pictures. It stars Ranvir Shorey, Neha Dhupia, Naseeruddin Shah, and Vinay Pathak in pivotal roles. The score and soundtrack were composed by Sagar Desai. It was released on 8 February 2008, opening to good reviews. Plot An extra (Ranvir Shourie) in Bollywood gets caught up with the wrong people because his face is identical to the underworld don, 'Raje' bhai (a slang for underworld don in Mumbai). An opposing gang seeing the opportunity plans to murder the don and replace him with the actor, who will sit at the helm of the don's empire and act as their puppet to help them take over the empire. The plan falls apart when the actor suffers a head injury during an accident and experiences dementia. Rajat Kapoor
Rajat Kapoor is an Indian actor, filmmaker and playwright who works in Hindi cinema. Early life and early career Rajat Kapoor was born in Delhi, India and grew up in Old Delhi. In 1983 he joined the theatre group Chingari in Delhi. In 1985 he moved to Pune to attend the Film and Television Institute of India (FTII). Kapoor started out in Parallel Cinema, making his debut in the 1989 Kumar Shahani film '' Khayal Gatha''.
