Mitchie Brusco
Mitchell "Mitchie" Brusco (born February 20, 1997) is an American pro Skateboarding, skateboarder. Nicknamed "Little Tricky", he began skateboarding at the age of three in Kirkland, Washington, gaining popularity and recognition as a young talent in skateboarding. Brusco is the first skateboarder in history to successfully land a 1260 (skateboard), 1260, a skateboard trick in which the rider makes three-and-half revolutions in the air before landing, in competition. 900 (skateboarding)
The 900 is a 2½-revolution (900 degrees) aerial spin performed on a skateboard ramp. While airborne, the skateboarder makes two-and-a-half turns about their longitudinal axis, thereby facing down when coming down. It is considered one of skateboarding's most technically demanding tricks. Performance by Tony Hawk On June 27, 1999, Tony Hawk, one of the most successful vertical pro skateboarders in the world, landed the 900 at X Games V after ten failed attempts. It was past regulation time but, as one announcer said, "We make up the rules as we go along. Let's give him another try." Other skaters protested, but Hawk continued. Hawk twice landed on his board, but it flew out from under him. When he finally completed the trick, his arms windmilled and his hand barely grazed the ramp. Nonetheless, he rode away. The X Games are a series of action sports events founded by ESPN Inc. and aired on ESPN networks and ABC. Tom Schaar
Tom Schaar ( ; born September 14, 1999) is an American professional skateboarder. Schaar has been a member of Team USA since 2019 and won the silver medal in the men's park skateboarding competition at the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris, France. Gravity Games
The Gravity Games was a multi-sport competition originating in Providence, Rhode Island that was broken down into Winter (only held in 2000) and Summer (held from 1999 to 2006) adaptations. The competition featured a variety of extreme sports such as aggressive inline skating, skateboarding, freestyle motocross, BMX freestyle and snowboarding.
