Mister Venezuela 1997 was the 2nd edition of the Mister Venezuela competition, held on April 8, 1997, at the Estudio 1 de Venevisión in Caracas, Venezuela. At the end of the event, José Gregorio Faría of Zulia titled his successor Sandro Finoglio of Distrito Federal as Mister Venezuela 1997. The 1st Runner-Up position went to Guillermo Pérez also from Distrito Federal. Sandro Finoglio
Sandro Finoglio (born Sandro Finoglio Esperanza; January 3, 1973) is a Venezuelan actor, model, tv host and beauty pageant titleholder who the winner of Mister Venezuela 1997, Finoglio was sent to Troia, Portugal a year later to compete in the Mister World 1998 competition, which he won. His father is from Rome and his Mother is from Pisa. Mister International
Mister International is an international male beauty pageant that the Mister International Organization runs since 2006. It was Singapore-based, owned, and organized by its former president and late founder Alan Sim. Following Sim's death, two new Mister International organizations emerged, one based in the Philippines, the other in Thailand. Since 2023, both organizations have conducted their own competitions and chosen their own Mister International winner. The current Mister International 2024 is Nwajagu Samuel of Nigeria, who was crowned on December 14, 2023 at the Island Hall, Fashion Island, Bangkok, Thailand.
