Missionary (film)
''Missionary'' is a 2013 Drama (genre), drama Thriller (genre), thriller film by Anthony DiBlasi. It received its world premiere on July 25, 2013 at the Fantasia International Film Festival and stars Dawn Olivieri as a single mother caught up in one man's obsession with her. Plot summary Katherine is a mother trying to raise her son Kesley the best she can, despite being recently separated from her husband Ian. When Mormon missionary Elder Kevin Brock offers to help her son practice American football, football, both he and Katherine are drawn to one another. Despite some worries about the 10 year age difference between the two of them, Katherine and Kevin are initially happy in their blossoming relationship. It takes a sour turn when Katherine decides to try to work things out with her estranged husband, which doesn't sit well with Kevin. Anthony DiBlasi
Anthony DiBlasi is an American film director, producer, and screenwriter known for his work in horror films. He made his directorial debut in 2009 with the film ''Dread (film), Dread'', based on the Books of Blood#"Dread", 1984 short story of the same name by English novelist and filmmaker Clive Barker. DiBlasi also directed and co-wrote the 2014 film ''Last Shift'' and the 2018 film ''Extremity (film), Extremity''. Life and career DiBlasi was born and raised in Boston, Massachusetts, where he graduated from film school at Emerson College. While in the program, he held an internship with Marvel Studios in Los Angeles, California, around the time that the 2002 film ''Spider-Man (2002 film), Spider-Man'' was in post-production. They recruited ''Smash Hits'' editor Barry McIlheney to edit the new magazine, with Hepworth as Editorial Director.
