Missez were an American-German R&B group composed of Tomi, Keysha and Rashe. The group's only released as of 2006 was the single “Love Song” which peaked at #53 on ''Billboard''’s Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart, staying on the chart for 20 weeks. After that, the group faded into obscurity. The group never released an album. Canarsie, Brooklyn
Canarsie ( ) is a mostly residential neighborhood in the southeastern portion of Brooklyn, New York City. Canarsie is bordered on the east by Fresh Creek Basin and East 108th Street; on the north by Linden Boulevard; on the west by Ralph Avenue; on the southwest by Paerdegat Basin; and on the south by Jamaica Bay. It is adjacent to the neighborhoods of East Flatbush to the west, Flatlands and Bergen Beach to the southwest, Starrett City to the east, East New York to the northeast, and Brownsville to the north. The area near Canarsie was originally settled by the Canarse Native Americans. The community's name is adapted from a Lenape word meaning "fenced area". After European settlement, Canarsie was initially a fishing community, but became a popular summer resort in the late 19th and early 20th centuries. Interscope Records is an American record label owned by Universal Music Group through its Interscope Geffen A&M imprint. Chad Lamont Butler (December 29, 1973 – December 4, 2007), better known by his stage name Pimp C, was an American rapper and record producer. He was best known for his work with Bun B as one half of the hip-hop duo Underground Kingz (UGK). Signing to Jive Records in 1992, UGK released their major-label debut album '' Too Hard to Swallow'' to critical acclaim. The group followed this with their second and third major-label albums '' Super Tight'' in 1994 and '' Ridin' Dirty'' in 1996, both of which charted in the ''Billboard'' 200 to further success.
